? Evknino Post Ornot Thuisday Afternoon Mrsurs Freeman It. Jackso.v & Co. report:— "The beef entered for the sale at Johnsonville yesterday waa of prime quality and the bidding was brisk throughout. Ox beef made 17s, and cow beef almost 14a fid the 1001b. Sheep were only medium quality, and maintained last sale prices. No pigs came forward. Our quotations are— One line of bullocks brought from £7 10s to £9 2s 6d, averaging £8 2s ; another lot averaged £7 16s. ranging from £7 5s to £B 7s 6d ; aline of 14 head brought from £0 178 6d to £8, averaging £7 8s ; oowh, £4 2s fid to £1 15s, average £4 10s. Sheep— Wethers, lls6d to 13s Ski; ewes, 9s 3d to lls. 9d ; old inferior ewes, 7s 6d."
