The Otago Dock Trust.

[By Telegraph. | I UNITED PRESS ASBOCIATION.I Dunedin, 10th August. A deputation from the Dook Trust waited on Sir Julius Vogel to-day, to explain more fully what had been done in the matter of raising a loan to construct a new dock. The only outcome wad that Sir Julius said he did not at present see the necessity for interfering, and both sides expressed a hope that the hatchet would be buried. A meeting of the Trust was afterward held, at whioh the resolution to float the loan at £90 was con. firmed, but on the recommendation of the Mayor it was resolved to cable to Melbourne as to what terms a 5 per cent, loan could be floated thero.
