TO THE EDITOB.

Sib— l wish to draw tho attention of tho powers that be to that part of tho Adelaideroad which joins the Island Bay estate. The Kilbirnie Board are repairing aud widoning the Island Bay road, though that part has never been so bad as the road which the Corporation ought to keep in order. It is now in a disgraceful stato— a sea of mud and great holes from ono side of the road to the other. As it is a favourite drive both to visitors and residents in Wellington, I hope the Corporation will soe to it at once, as it is quite impassable for pedestrians. Trusting you will kindly insert this in your valuable paper, I am, &c, Babbacouta.
