Sib— Knowin f as I do you will aid anybody in obtaining peace in his neighbourhood, I beg to vontilato t).o following grievance, viz. :— I am in tho habit of keeping a night school three nights per week, and during the term that the school oooupies I have bricks and otho-i missiles thrown on tho house, and it has now becomo so bad that both my pupils and wife aro afraid to go in tho street. Now I think that all peaceful citizens should be proteoted, and therofore I think the neighbourhood (four doors above Cate's, butoher) should be looked after by the police I have had occasion on a previous trouble of tho same sort to call the attention of the police to tho fact, and I hope for the general banefit that the proper authorities will take cognizance of the complaint now brought forward.
