Beef was of medium to flood quality, and made 15s per 1001b for tho former <*nd 13s for the latter. Sheep were of good tjuAllly throughout, and there wns a slight improvement m values, say from Gd to nd per bend. Lambs were well competed for. and sold at full rates. Figs Irere dull of sale, and reulised lower prices. CattleBest bullocks, £6 10! to £7 10s, averaging £6 13s 6d, medium small bullocks averaging £5 12s Gd ; cows, £i 7« 6d to £4 115s, averaging £i 10b. Sheep— Best wethers, 0s Id to 0s 2d ; smaller ones, Ss to 8r lOd ; ewes, 8s Id to 8s nd ; lambs, in wool, 8s to 8s 3d ; shorn, 6s 3d to 7a 3d. Pigs-Small store pigs, Gs Od to 8s 3d; larger sorts, 8s 6d to lls ; barrow pigs, 10s to 82s. No fat pigs came forward.
