The Volunteers.
As an evidence of the interest taken in rifle shooting by our volunteers, we are informed that no fewer than 15,000 rounds have been expended by the members of the City Rifles during the current year, which is conclusive proof that volunteers not only give their time, but expend no small amount of money in making themselves proficient as rifle shots. In this company, we understand, in order to encourage rifle shooting, the men are allowed ammunition for.praotdct at half-price.
