[itKUTElt'd TELEQKAIISj.J (Received Juno 17, 1 p.m.) London, loth June. A meeting of the Koyal Colonial Institute took place last evening, tho Marquis of Lome being iv the chair. Arooiigbt those present were Sir George Bowen, Sir John Hall, Sir W. J. Clark, Bart., Sir W. L. Dobsou, and Me. Grahum Berry. Iv the course of a speech on the occasion, Sir George Bovren emphasized the necessity for Imperial federation, owing to the rupid growth of the colonies.
