The Petrel Inquiry.
♦_ [By Telegraph.] [united press association.] Auckland, 15th Juno. The Petrel inquiry continues at Eussell. Sergeant Gamble, accompanied by a constable, left Auckland to-day by the, Te Anau on important business in connection with the investigation. 'It is expected that arrests will be made. This Dat. The Petrel case -was concluded to-day. The captain and others accused will probably be arrested and sent to America for trial.
