Address fro m Members of the General Assembly to Mr, Gladstone.

Last night Mr. E. O'Conor forwarded to tho Right Hon W. E. Gladstone, Premier of England, a cable mossago expressing tho sympathy of a largo number of mombers of the Goneral Assembly of this colony with his efforts to obtain Homo Rulo for Ireland. The messago was in the following terms: — "Gladstone London. — Our sympathies with you, — Groy, Montgomery, Stout, Atkinson, Macandrow. Fifty members General Assembly New Zealand." It \ri\\. be seen that tho signatures of all the leaders of parties in tho House wero attached to the cablo message in the order in which their signatures wero obtained by Mr. O'Conor to tho original document.
