The wookly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reBorve in notes and bullion to be .£11,400,000, and the proportion of resorve to liabilities 39 per cent. Stdnet, 11th June. New Zealand wheat, 4e 3d per bushel ; New Zealand oats, 2s 6d ; maize, por 561b, 8s Cd ; Sugar Company's No. 1, JE2S per ton ; pollard, Is 6d per bushel ; potatoes, 65s per ton. Adelaide, 11th Jnne. The following items of Mauritius corn* meroial intelligence are taken from Messrs. Iroland, Fraser, and Company's monthly circular, dated 28th May, to hand per s.s. Salazie : — The weather since last advice has bflen unfavourable for harvest operations. The season's sugar crop iB estimated to yield from 100,000 to 110,000 tons. The month's engagements for Now Zealand are — Christchurch, 300 tons ; and Dunedin, 200 tons. Freights to Australia aro quoted at 15s to 17s, and to Now Zealand 255. Exchange, GO days on New Zealand, 11 per cent. ; Australia, 12} per cent. The stock of sugar on hand at the present timo is 22,000 tons, and the season's demands for New Zealand have beon 6000 tons.
