The Shaw, S.ivill & Albion Company's chartered steamer lonio, Commander J. G CiuaoroD, from London, vii Pljmonth. Tenerilfe, Capotown and Hobart, arrived in our harbonr at 6 this morning, aud, til bting well on hoard, nag brons?bt up to the wharf at 9 a in. She left the docks on 10th September, and Gravesend at 5 next morning. Tlienco to Plymouth had fmrweathor, arriving at 8.25 a.m. on tho 12th; embarked passengers and malls, and sailed again at 1 47 pm. came day ; experienced light northerly wiuds and pleasant weather to Toneriffa, which itos reached at 3 p.m on the 17th. The passengers disembarked at Teneriffa and spent a delightful evening ashore The steamer, after coaling, left about midnight, crossed the Line at noon on the 24th, and arrived at (he Cape on Srd iosh, at 11 p m , having had light north-east winds to tha Equator, thence moderate winds and fine wenther ; embarked pasongerß, and left at 133 pm. next day. Arrived at Hobart 9 a.m ou the 23rd instnnt, end left again at 7 35 p.m same day, had fine weather acrou, and came in as above The voyage out Ins been an exceptionally flue one, not a singlo gale or high sea having been experienced. The passengers all seem healthy aud well. One bicth oconrred about a week before the veasel reaohed Hobart. The gross timo ocoupied on the voyage was 45 days, 4 hours, 28 minutes, and tho actual steaming time 43 dnyi, 16 hours, 8 minutes. The total distance ma was 12,864 miles, being an nverage of 13 89 per bonr A concert, a fancy dress ball, a theatrical performance, and two dtjs' nth'etio sports, including races for ladies, were given by the officers, and apparently much en7oyed. The personnel of ncr officers is as folJonas— Commander, J. G. Cameron; chief officer, 3. Pascoe; seoond, H. Lindsay; third, H. Jay; fourth, W. Robinson Mr Penny is still purser, and Dr Lenny surgeon, as on the last trip. The chief engineer is Mr W. Purvis, the second Mr J Davit, tbe third Mr W. Mackay, and the chief steward Mr Etchella The louio remains here' nntil Sitnrday, when she leaves for Fort Chalmers. Following is her passenger list:— Saloon for Wellington— Miases Stuckey (2), and Ward, Mr find Mrs Siuokey, Mrs Ward, Mr and Mrs Want, Captain Williams, Messrs Heotham, Dunn and Ward 1 33 for other ports, and 14 lauded at Hobart. S.'oond Saloon for Wellington— Mrs Walker, Mr and Mrs Hiley, Messrs Dawson and Reed; 17 for other ports, and 34 landed at Hobart. Steerage— Missies Coatthwd, Hillmer. Erickson and Patterson, Mesdamos Coulthord and Faulkner, Messrs Bay ley, Cleary, Clnrko, Deslands, Gibbg, Clifford, Hansen, Harper, Jones, Leadbetter (»), Moss, Mitchell.
