The Bank rate remains at 3 and the market rate at 2\ por cont. * The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England has risen to £17,000,000, in increase 1 of £1.900,000 during the wook. The proportion of reserve to liabilities has advanced to 47 per oont. New Zealand securities.— s per cent. 10-40 loan has advanced by 10s to 103 ; 5 per oont, 1880 has advanced by 20s to 105 j 4J por cent. 1879-1004 loan has advanced by 10s to 100 i, ot div. t 4 per cent, inscribed stook remains at 100 Colonial brcadstuffa and tallow remain at last quotations. Quantity' of wheat afloat, 1,810,000 quarters. Wool.— The market is qniet. " The arrivals to date for rioxt auotians amount to 120,000 bales.
