(Received March 22, 11 a.m.) Adelaide, Tins Dat. .Messrs. Ireland, Fraser and Co., of Mauritius, report of tho sugar market, under date sth March, as follows .'—There is no change to report in prices. Business now being done is chiefly to arrive. Aocounte from the plantations as regards the crops are favourable. The month's engagements for New Zealand ports are, as follows—For Lyttelton, 300 ; Port Clialmors, 100. The clearances include 200 tons for Lyttelton. Freights to Australia, 225 ; to New Zealand, 40s. Exohange, 60 days' bank credits — New Zealand, 12} per cont. ; Australia, 14 per cent. The stock of sugar in hand is 40,000 tons. The local breadstuff's market is quiet, with but littlo doing. Tho demand for flour is limited to actual wants. Adelaide wheat, 3s lid to 4s. Town flour, £9 10s ; country brands, £8 10» to £8 15s. Sydney, This Day. New Zealand wheat, 3s 3s; New Zealand oats, 2s lid; maize, 4s lid. Sugar, No. 1 pieces, £34.
