THE Company begs to announce that it will, as heretofore, hold regular publio sales of the new clip during the season, at its commodious warehouse in Wellington, and in soliciting the continued support of wool grower*, would call attention to tho complete arrangements made for dealing with consignments. It ia well known to those interested that growers who have sold their wool at local publio sales in the past, and particularly last season, have had reason, subsequently, to be more than pleased with the result of thiß action. All parcels of wool committed to the Company's care for local sale are, on roceipt, carefnlly EXAMINED AND VALUED BY COMPETENT PERSONS, and a roport thoreon transmitted to ownors. FARMERS' LOTS, no matter how small, al«o receive tho samo efficient attention. No lota are sold at below the reserves fixed by consignors, and in those cases whero Rpocifio instructions are not furnished, the Company's valuation is adopted as a reservo. The Company further acts AS SELLING BROKBK ONLY, an additional guarantee that olionts' interests will bo protected. Should satisfactory prices not bo realised, the Company offers the alternative course of shipment ; the only charge made on wools thus withdrawn from sale being the nominal one of a shilling per bale, which" covers all warehouse expenses, inoluding insurance. Acoonnt sales, with net proceeds, are remitted promptly within seven days of date of auotion. In demonstrating the high reputation possessed by the Company in the handling of wool on behalf of its colonial constituent!, the following figures will be significant, viz. i— Bales. A M.A. Co., in New Zealand, season 1882 9,100 Total 109,176 The Company also accepts the consignment of every description of colonial produce, inoluding Grain, Frozen Meat, Tallow, Hides, Leather, Sheepskins, Rabbit Skins, Ao., for sale in New Zoaland, or Australasian, American, and London markets. Liberal oash advances are made where required on all produce placed in the Company's hands for sole or shipment.
