Hovr beautiful are some of the new pat terns in prints and sateens. The nature patterns are wonderfully faithful ; some of the leaves and flowers, but for their repetition, would almost baulk perception, and, at a little distance, persuade the eye that the birds, leaveß, and flowers were actual specimens, or at least were skilfully painted on the stuff by a master hand.— Advt. Wk would specially commend in this respect some elegant, richly finished bordered French sateens, now showing at Te Aro House. The border is most artistic, consisting of 'birds, with outstretched wings, surrounded by a mass of lovely foliage and flowers. Another speciality is what is known as the " Heron " pattern cambric, a beautiful design, equally difficult to imagine or deaoribe. These should be at onoe inspected, as the quantity is limited at Te Aro House. — Advt.
