Consols are unchanged at 99 7-Bths and New Zealand securities at tho following quotations : — 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, 105$, ex div. ; 5 per cent. 1889 loan, 106J ; 4$ per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 101 J. The wheat market i» dull. - Adelaide, -«x warehouse, 48s; New Zealand ditto, 46s to 48s ; Adelaide flour, ex store 355. Australian tallow is firm at 465. Cd for best beef and 46s 6d for belt mutton. At the wool auction to-day, 10,200 bales were offered. The market is steady, but the demand is not active. IMPROVED MARKET FOR FROZEN MEAT. , ' HEALTH OF THE PRINCE OF WALES. H.R.H. the Prince of Wales returns from the Continent on Wednesday. He is in greatly improved health. The ironworkers' strike in America is stated to have entirely collapsed.
