The schooner Saucy Lass arrived from Lyttelton at 7.30 lost evening. The steamers Tui for Kaikoura, Jane Douglas for Foxton, Patea for Patea, Kiwi and Go- Ahead for E«et Coast, Wallace for Wanganui and Nelson, and Bauraki for Opnnaxe, sailed last evening, after the Post -.was published. The three firstnamed should return to-morrow. The s.s. Hawca sailed for Picton and Nelson this afternoon. The B.Bv Walcatipu should arrive from Sydney to-night. She is advertised to leave for South to-morrow. The 8.8. Bingarooma, from Melbourne via South, arrives to-morrow morning, and leaves in the afternoon for Auckland via the East Coast. The b.b. Wanaka arrives from Onehunga tit, intermediate ports, to-morrow morning, and sails for Lyttelton in the afternoon. The s.s. Mohaka leaves for - Blenheim this evening. • ' The b.s. Huia. left for Wanganui at 1.15 this afternoon. The little steamer Paiaka left last evening, and arrived at Foxton at 9.30 this morning. Captain Callow, of the schooner Saucy Lass, which arrived from Lyttelton last evening, reports that the schooners Clio, Aspasia, Herald, Ellabank Castle, and 13 others, were windbound in Cloudy Bay yesterday. They were all bound through the Strait, and had been out some time. The barque Anstralind arrived at Newcastle yesterday from Wellington. The ship Pleione hauled into the fairway this afternoon. She takes the following passengers for London : — Hiss A. Johnson, Mesdames Par•ons and child, Dugdale, Norris and child, and Mr Bloomfield. She also takes the following cargo.: — 4822 bales and 282 packages wool, 1^.7 bales skins, 121 do flax, 75 casks tallow, 18 packages leather and basils, 317 cases meats, 2 do shells, 560 sacks flour, and 41 packages sundries.
