Passengers — Mrs Phillips, Judge and Mrs Haekett, Captain Hussell, Mr Pinlay and 9 steerage. Sailed— Eotorua, for North. Auckland, 22nd December. Sailed— Rotomahn.ua, for South. Passengers — Hisses Jerram, Wayte and Hewett, Mr and Mrs Hafcyey and family (2), Mesdames Walton and - Andrews, Messrs Dunlop, Walton, Waters and Taylor, Masters Jones and Andrews. Westport, 22nd December. Arrived, 10.30p.m.— Westport, from Wellington 23rd December. Sailed, 11.30 a.m.— Westport, for Wellington. Foxton, 23rd December. Arrived, 11 a.m. — Jane Douglas, from Welling, ton. Gbetmouth, 23rd December. Sailed, 11 a.m. — Grafton, for Wellington. ? The s.s. Albion left Sondridge at 1.30 p.m. on the 14th inst., and arrived at the Bluff at 6, p.m./ on the 19th; left at 9 p.m.', and arrived at Port Chalmers next day ; sailed on the 21st, and reached Lyttelton at 2.30 p.m. yesterday; sailed at .5.45 ' p.m., and arrived here at 11.30 this morning ; had fresh to strong westerly winds up the coast. She leaves for Port Chalmers this afternoon. • The s.s. Wanaka loft Onehunga at 10.80 a.m. on the 20th and arrived off Taranaki early next morning, but, owing to thick, dirty weather, ,was unable to communicate with the shore ; proceeded on to Nelson at 6.30 a.m., where she arrived at 8 p.m. ; moved on at 10 yesterday morning, and arrived at Picton at 6in ttie evening ; left at at 12.30 and arrived here at 5 a.m., having experienced a rough passage throughout. She returns to same ports this evening. "" The s.s. Mohaka arrived from Blenheim early this morning, and returns this evening. The s.s. Patea arrived at 4 this morning from Patea and Nelson. She left again for Patea this, afternoon. > " • ' .- , Thei'Sl Tui arrived at 1 o'clock this morning from Lyttelton, Kaikoura and Woipapa. She leaves for Kaikoura this evening. ' The p.s. Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim at noon to-day, and returns this evening. The schooner Star of the Sea, from Pelorus Sound, and brigantine Sarah Pile, from Kaipara, beat into port' this morning. The departure of the s.s. Alhambra, for Melbourne via West- Coast, was postponed from, last evening until to-day, when she left shortly after noon. The s.s. Waitald Bailed shortly after noon today for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The s.s. Eotorua, from Melbourne via the South, arrives td-morrow morning, and sails same day for Auckland via East Coast. ' The steamers Wakatu, for Wanganui, and Jane Douglas, for Foxton, sailed last evening. The Napier sailed early this morning for Blenheim, and: returns to-morrow. The ship- Auckland sailed for-P.orfc Chalmers last evening, where she loads' for London. The brigantine Mary Bannatyne left for Oamorn lost evening with a cargo of timber. The schooner Albatross sailed for Suva, Fiji, yesterday. The steamers Grafton, from Qreymouth, and Westport, from Westport,, arrive to-morrow, and leave on Saturday and Sunday, as advertised.
