The cricket match between the Knglish team and eleven of Victoria was reanmed today. The attendance was large, though the weather wan showery during the day, and owing to the rain the wicket was not so lively as yesterday. The Victoriams continued their first innings, which closed for 251. Edwards made 65. The fielding of the Englishmen was weak. The latter then went in for their first innings, and were all disposed of for 146. Bates was caught for 42, Sootton was bowled for 28, and hhaw was caught for 23 The Englishmen, being 105 behind the Victorians, followed their innings, and when B tumps were drawn for the day had put together 47 for the loss of two wickets. Selby was caught for 32. Sydney, This Day. Two freeh cases of small-pox in Woolloomooloo have been reported to the Health Board. Arrived, yesterday afternoon — Steamship Wakatipu, for Wellington. # Brisbane, This Day. A trolly, in which two labourers were asleep, waa run into by a train near Dalby, and both men were lulled.
