The Committee does not feel justified in continuing the exj>ense and attendance necessitated by Sunday opening, in view of the extreme indifference man f ested by members since Ihe experiment has been made, the average attendance on this day being very limited. Subject to conditions which may be learnt on application to the Librarian, members may, for their convenience, between the hours of 9.45 and 10 p.m. on Saturdays, take out any recently-arrived magazines from those on the -Readine-room tables, such magazines being strictly returnable by 10 a.m. on the following Mondays. 1 his latter clause must, however, a? a matter of necessity, be rigidly enforced in all cases.
