The bush is mainly light timber, soft wooda, and a few rata. Land ia well watered. The Sections in Block 111., Waimate, are about two miles inland of the Town of Manaia, about half being open grass lands, the remainder light bush, with clearings. The i-ections in Block L, Hawera, adjoin the railway-line from New Plymouth to flawera, and are abont two miles from the Is'ormanby Station. Land level and partially cleared.
