ANY person may appoint the Publio Trustee exeoutor and trustee nnder hia will or codicil. Any present trustee may transfer tbe management of trust property to the Publio Trmsteo, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trusts attaching thereto. Any person, company, association, or public body within or without tho colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Publio Trustee npon trusi for such uses as may be defined in the deod creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be plaood in the Public Trust Office, for suoh trust? and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. Tho advantages offered are :— ' • Ist. State Guarantee against pooulation, frau^, or dishonesty. 2nd. All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney General, tho Comptroller and Auditor General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all seouritiea offered it therefore ensured. 3rd. The Public Trustee, in his corporate capacity, nevbr dies, never leaves tei country, and neves becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of Trustees, necessitated by death, change of abede, or mental or bodily infirmity. 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under trust or will to any part of the colony or elsewhere at whioh it may bo desired that payments shonld bo made. sth. Reasonable charges : On estates such as are now being considered the Pnblio J'msteo is authorised to charge 1£ per cent, on all receipts, and 1£ per cent, on disbursements, and 5s per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamp and property tax returns, nor for correspondence no trover voluminous.
