Wanaka left Ly ttelton at 10 o'clock on Saturday night and arrived here at 8 yesterday afternoon. She Bails aga<n tins evening for Ficton and Nelson with English mail ex Penguin The steamers Napier and Mobaka, from Blenheim, arrived laat evening. They return tbis «vening. The h b. Jane Douglas, from Foxfcon, reached WellinKton at 11.15 last night. She returns tomorrow The as. Go-Ahead, from Napier and Cast'.epoint, arrived at 10 p m. yeßterday, and roturns this orening The eteuniera Manaw atu and Tui from Wacganui, arrived yeßterday— the former at 5 a.m. and the latter at 12 15 piu The Munuwata returned to Wanuganui this ufternoou, and the Tui Bulls for Koikoura and Lyttelton t; is evening The Kiwi arrived from the East Coast at 1130 this morning, and returns again to name ports to-morrow. The steamer Pa tea arrived from Patea at 6 o cltok thiß worming, sne returuß this evening. 'Ihe Lucy Jauieu, from jj ttolton, urrivod here in ballast yesterday morning. She has just left the shipwrights' hands, and has been thoroughly overhauled ; new topaailß, sew deck, spars, &c, have been added, aud her rig altorod to a ketch Toe Lucy James about 35 years ago, conveyed H.M. mailß between Wellington and and Sydney and was in those days considered a very fast boat. The Forest Queen, from Lyttelton arrived in harbour yeßterday afternoon, haviug left there lafet Wednesday. She loads railway meepeiß here for Lyttelton. The steamer Wallace left on Saturday evening for Nelson aud West Coast ports. The Hinemoa left tbis afternoon for Opnnake and will probably arrive here at midnight tomorrow with about 300 volunteers. H.M.S Emerald got under weigh at 9 o'clook yeßterday unrniug, and steamed out of the harbour for Sydney. From Sydney she leaves lor Portsmouth, where she will be paid off. The Penguin, with the 'Frisco moil, should arrive hvre about 9 or 10 o'olock to-night. Bhe leaves inortly after arrival for Lyttelton. Captain Williams' new steamer Westport is aunounctd to leave for Westport on Thursday next. Tho new line will be called Williams' Blank Diamond Line of Packets. xne pieu arrives iioin L.yueiton to-morrow, and sails same day for Auckland via Hast Coast Tha Bteamor Wakatipu arrivtß from the South to-morrow and sails same day for Sydnsy.
