♦ This Day. I Before District Judge Shaw.J C. J. POWNALL V. CASWELL SOUND MARBLE COMPANY. His Honor delivered judgment iv this case— a claim of JEIOS 14s 6d in respect of commission for sale of shares, &o. — at some length. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for .£2O 4s 6d, being at the rate of Is per Bhare in respect of shares sold by Mr. Pownall — 1711 — plus certain money expended by him, and less other money which he admits having in hand belonging to the company. ;

T. K. MACDONALD V. A. P. BTUABT AND J. B. HARCOURT. The plaintiff in thiß action sought to recover JBI9I 16s 6d, representing an indemnity for costs alleged to have been given by the plaintiff in re an action instituted against Mr. Macdonald by Mr. Walter Bishop. Mr. FitzGerald appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. Bell for the defendants. The case had not concluded when our reporter left the Court.
