THE WRECK AT THE BLUFF.
DETAILS OF THE DISASTER. [UNITED PBBSS ASSOCIATION. I BhxrFF, 7th November. The barque England's Glory, from London to the Bluff, via Nelson, which has become a total wreck in Foveaux Strait, about two miles from the Blnff, arrived off the Heads this morning, with fine weather. The captain stood cose on to Look-out Point to receive the pilot aboard. The mate took charge of the wheel, aad put the helm up and trimmed the head sails, but the vessel would not pay off, but ran ashore on Lookout Point. A hawaer was then run out with a kedge from the quarter, bat the attempt
to haul her off failed, and as she was making water rapidly the crew launched all boats and got their effects away, aud in a few minuto3 the barqoo listed to tho starboard, lyingf with her beam ends all under water. She is dry at low water, but tho sea breaks over at hi^h water. She iB fully exposed to the sea, and musi break up with the first gale. _____________
