Oamaru, 29th Ootober. Mr. James Hassell will ooatesb Oamara. Mr. Shrimski is tho only other candidate as yet. iNYERCARaiLL, THIS DAT. Dr. Hodgkinson, a former member, addressed a meeting of Wallaoe electors at Riverton on Saturday, receiving a vote of confidence. While not supporting Sir G. Groy, ho believed it possible to get a better Government than the present, which, he said, had done harm as well as good. Chbistchurch, This Day. Mr. J. Gould, one of the candidates for the Ashley district, addressed the electors on Friday and received a vote of confidence.
