LATEST INTELLIGENCE.
London, 29th October. Arrests of prominent agitators continue to be made in Ireland under the Viceroy's warrant. Among those recently placed in custody i 3 Mr. M'Hale, a Catholic priest. There are no changes to report to-day in the money or produce markets. Galvanized iron, 26 guage, has advanced to £18 ; best Sydney copra remains at £16. Paris, 29th October. M. Gambetta, President of the Chambor of Deputies, had an interview to-day with President Grevy. No particulars of the meeting have yet transpired. Berlin, 29th October. The elections to tho Gorman Reichstag have resulted unfavourably for tho Government, which has now no working majority in Parliament. Among the defeated Ministerial candidates was a eon of] Prince Bismarck. There has been a large increase in the number of Socialist candidates elected to the Reichstag.
