CAPITAL, £100,000 in 20,000 shares of £5 each, payable as follows : — Five Shillinga per share on application ; Five Shillinga on allotment, and the residue by calls of Ten Shillings per share at intervals of not less than three months ; but it is proposed in the first instance, not to call up more than £2 10i per share in the whole. The Company is to be established for the purpose of carrying on the purchase and sale of Wool and the manufacture and sale of Woollen Goods of all descriptions. It is proposed to erect the factory in some convenient place near the City of Wellington, and the Provisional Directors believe that a desirable site may be obtained at a reasonable cost. All modern appliances and improvements will be introduced in the construction of the necessary works. The Provisional Directors have already received applications for a considerable number of shares, and confidently believe that they will shortly be enabled to take the neceEsary stepa for establishing the company. When not less than 10,000 shares have been applied for, a meeting of the applicants will be convened in order to consider further proceedings. In the event of 10,000 shares not being applied for, the deposits will be returned free of charge, except a sum not exceeding Is per share to cover preliminary expenses, i The success which has attended similar projectg in other parts of the colony, coupled with the fact that no woollen factory on a large scale has yet been established in the North Island, justify the Provisional Directors in believirg that the business will prove remunerative to shareholders. Forms of application for shares can be obtained from the Secretary pro tern., and from sharebrokers throughout the colony.
