WANGANUI SUPREME COURT.

The oriminal sittings of the Supreme Court commenced to-day, before his Honour the Chief Justice. There are only eight caseß on the calendar. The bill was thrown out by the Grand Jury in the oaße of Charles Brown, charged with cattle-stealing, and verdiota of Not Guilty were returned in the oase against W. A. Cole (cattle-stealing), John Gittena (cattle-stealing), and Kmanuel Lemur (rape). John Fraser was convioted of laroeny from the person; sentence being deferred ti^l to-morrow. The charges against W. Green' and Henry Williams, of the robbery of JMOO from the b.s. Stormbird, will probably come on to-morrow.
