Wind— Between north-weßtand south-west at all places north of Napier, and between southwest and south-east at all other place, but buoking everywhere alter 12 hours. Baboicethb— Further rice at all stations, but falling at all places southward of Napier after 12 hours. Sea— Heavy on eastern coast, inorease on western coast WABNrnas for Bontberly gales and wind backing af t»r 12 hours have been sent to all stations, ' BTNOFBIB OF LAST 48 HOUBB. throughout Saturday, and until about 8 pm. on Sunday, the barometer continued falling at all stations, but since then it has risen steadily everywhere. The wind has baen generally from the southward, and on the East Coaat, between Xiyttelton and Napier, ther* has been a strong gale between 8.8. W. and south-east, with a heavy sea.
