Tbe steamer Wokatu took her departure this afternoon for Patea. The bB. Penguin will arrivo from Ijy ttc lton to-morrow, and on Monday sails for Picton and Nelson. • Tho steamers Huia and Manawatu leave Wanganui to night, and ahould arrive to-morrow morning, Tbe barque 8. Bhe is about 95 days out from London. The American barque Virginia, 750 tons, Captain Thurlow, from t»ew York, via Port Chalmers, should make Wellington this evening or to-morrow morning She left Port Chalmers on Wednesday last. Tho passage from New Tork occupied 113 days, the weather experienced being very bad. The Virgmia iB consigned to W. and G. Tumbull and Co.
