A new reef has been discovered on the ridge of a mountain, running in a northerly direotion, and not far from the first prospectors' claim. The correspondent of the Waikato Times reports that the reef is an enormous one, and that gold is to be seen in almost every part of it. It is expected to yield five onnoea to the ton. A third charge of a s'tnilaf nature broke down, in consequence of its being shown that the cheque had not been presented for payment at the bank.
