Mr. W. T. L. Travers announces his candidature for the Te Aro Electoral District at the approaching general election. His address appears in another column. Dr. Buller has decided to come forward for the Foxton seat. His address- to the electors appears in another column. Mr. J. F. Rockstrow, of Foxton, also announces his intention of standing for the same seat, and a third candidate his come forward in tho person of Mr. C. tf. Izard, whose address to the electors will be found in another column. Mr. and Mrs. Toxward returned to New Zealand by the phip Wairoa yesterday morning, after an absence of 18 months from the colony. Mr. Toxward was severely injured by a coach accident on the Rimutaka about five years ago, and the chief object of hi 3 visit Home was to get the best surgical advice on the subject. He appears to be quite restored to health now, and intends, we believe, to resume the practice of his profession as an architect.
