A COMPLAINT.
— ? TO THE BDITOB OF THE BVKNINO POST. Sir— Can you inform me whether the inhabitants of Mowbray- street were made the snbjeota of a practical joke on the part ef the Corporation officials, or was it of necessity that the water in that street was turned off la.it night at about 6 o'clock, and was still so when I left homo this morning at 9.30 o'clock. In cinserjuenca of this extraordinary proceeding, we were all left without any water for domestic purposes. Should it be found necessary at any time to turn tho water off any particular street or streets, I think, sir, you will agree with me in Baying that the least the authorities can do ia to give dwellers therein reasonable notice, through the Press or otherwise, in order that a sufficient quantity of water may be stored to last until the pipes are again charged. I am, &c, One of the Suffeeees. 16th September.
