THE AMENDED ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.

The alterations effected in the Wellington Electoral Distriat boundaries by the Amendments in the Representation Schedules sent down by message from the Aetine>Governor, are mainly as follow: — Thorndon and Te ARO.merely verbal correction in the boundary descriptions. Wellington South, description entirely struck out and following substituted :—": — " Thia district is bounded to wards the North by the northern boundarylinea of the Borough of Wellington, and by the sea ; towards the East and South by the sea to the western boundary of the Kilbirnie Highway Diatrict ; thence towards the West by the Foxton Electoral District to the City of Wellington ; thence towards the North and East by the Electoral District of T horndon and Te Aro; and again towards the West by the Electoral District of Te Aro to the boundary of the Borough of Wellington, in Lambton Harbour." Foxton (formerly "Wellington Country") is altered so as to take in Karori and exclude Kaiwarra and Ngahauranga; Hutt takes in Kaiwarra and Ngahauranga, and leaves out Karori and Kilbirnie, the former going into Foxton and the latter into Wellington South; Manawatu, bounded by town of Sanson and Hutt Small Farm Block from Carnarvon to Eangitikei River, instead of the Carnarvon township being the boundary as far as that river. The other alterations in the boundaries of Wellington Provincial electorates are immaterial.
