On and after Ist November, 1880, Trains will leave Wellington New Station for— Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Masterton, at 7.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. Mastorton for Carterton, Groytown, Featherston, and Wellington, at 7.50 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Wellington for Upper Hutt— 7.3o a.m., 11.10 a.m,, 3.30 p.m., and 6.10 p.m. Uppor Hutt for Wellington— B a.m., 11.10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4.40 p.m. Wellington for Lower Hutt— 7.3o a.m., 11.10 a.m., 1.15 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 4.20 p.m., 5.10 p.m., and 6.10 p.m. Lower Hutt for Wellington— £.so *.m., 8.50 a.m., 11.50 a.m., 2.40 p.m., 5 p.m., and 5.25 p.m. Extra Trains will leave Wellington for Lower Hutt at 11.15 p.m. on Wednesdays and at 10 a.m., 7.30 p.m., and 11.15 p.m., on Saturdays. Trains will loave Wellington for Lower Hntt on Sundays, at 9.30 a.m., and 2.30 p.m., returning from Lower Hutt, at 10.5 a.m., and 5.30 p.m. All trains will call at any intermediate station to take or sot down, when required, on notice being Riven the guard. GENERAL TxTnDITIONS. Parcels and Goods — For Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silvor Stream, Wallocevillo, Summit, Cross' Creek. Pigeon Bush, Fernsido, Woodeido, and all Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the Platforms of those Stations at the risk of tho Consignee. Parcels and Goods — From the above Sta* tiou can bo made " To Pay " at Wellington, Petone, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Kaitoke, Featherßton, Groytown, Cartorton, and Mas* torton. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the doepatch or arrival of the Trains at tho exact times notified in the above Tables, and in tho event of any (mmstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it im* possible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but aoos not undertake to forward tho passengers. Luggage, — Eaoh passenger is allowed to take 1121b8 of poraonal luggage free (net in* eluding merchandise of any kind), and for ovory sGlbs above this weight, for every 50 milos or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will bo allowed to be takon into tho Carriages, unless ef suoh a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passen* gera. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Namos and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it iB placed on the Train, as the Railway Departmont will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can bo booked atStations only on condition that thero is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under twelve years of age, half-fare. Horses, Carriages, Ac— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train but when sent, they must be at the Forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means for scouring them in the horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations re* quisitions for horse-boxes or oarriago-truoks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in oarriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. All Time Tables issued prior to this date are now cancelled. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only ; for eaoh additional 25 miles, or frao* tien thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Tickets until the end of the following Mon* day.
