New Plymouth, This Dat. The sale of rural, suburban, and village settlement sectiens in the Cape and Opunako surrey districts and Bahotu. Tillage took place yesterday. {The tain was well-at-tended. The bidding was, at timeß, Bpiritfd. The total result of the sale was .£14,873. The average on Cape Block was £3 15a per acre. The deferred-payment sections averaged £Z, the highest price giv«n being £1 19s. Kahotu village averaged .£3O per acre. One half-acre section, put up at £2o fetched £34.
