Wabnings for southerly gales and much colder weather have bean sent to all East Coa&t Stations southward of Poverty Bay. SYNOPSIS OP LAST 24 HODBB. Fresh to strong aouthorly gales set in daring the afternoon at moat of the stations southward of Kaikouia and continued during the night, but in ether parts of the country the Wind continued a strong northerly gale (or some hours, changing to southwards towards morning.
