On Friday and Saturday the public will have the opportunity of purchasing some extraordinary bargains at James Smith's, Te Aro House. The balance of special goods left over from the Surplus Stock Sale comprises a lot of Dress Fabrics, in various lengths, Colored Silk Dresses, Flannels, Calicoes, Hosiery, Ribbons, &c, which will be offered at something like half of the ordinary sale prices. As the stock-taking must be completed on Monday, the sale will positively «lose at 10 p.m. on Saturday night. — [Advt.l The new waltz, " Flirtation," has had an enormous run throughout England and America. In New Zealand over 1000 copies have been sold. A third edition has just been published, and copies may bo obtained at Mr. D. Reichardt's Musio Warehouse, Wellington.— [Advt.]
