On the western coast of the Middle Island, and from Mew Plymouth northwards there have again been heavy westerly galeß, -with much bail, rain, thunder, and lightning, and a very heavy sea ; but on the eaßtern Bide ot the colony the wind has not been so violent, and the barometer has risen everywhere.
