AN ACTRESS'S NECKLACE.
The nsoklaoe now being executed in Paris for Sarah Bernhardt is (according to a London paper) near completion, and is considored one of the finest specimens of the jeweller's art of th* nineteenth century. It ia of the flat shape so much worn of late years— a mere bind worn round the throat of tho kind called collier de chien. It is composed of two rows of magnificent brilliants about an inch and a quarter apart, between whioh a wreath of field flowers in preciouß stones, representing the natural colors of the rustic bJo3Boms, seems to flow with the greatest ease and grace imaginable. Tk« minute poppies are composed of rubies, the cornflowers of sapphires, the marigolds of topaz, and so on, while the leaves are of emoralda. No two flowers are alike, and altogether this necklaco is pronounced one of the finest composed during this generation.
