The Winter Steeplechase meeting of the Victorian Racing Club was held to-day at Flemington. The weather was fine and there was a good attendance. His Excellency the Governor was present. The following are the results of the two chief events of the day : — Grand National Hurdle Race 3 miles. Mr. M. Loughlin's Sir Poter, list 4lb ... 1 Mr. A. Paqui's Cumberland, 9st 61b ... 2 Mr. J.
