ROBBERY AND VIOLENCE. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] OAMARU, 20th July.

Two women, named respectively Mary Ann Sullivan and Mary Duggan, and a man named Crawford, entered the house of a married woman, named Lees, yesterday afternoon, and demanded money, and, on the latter refnßiug, they kicked and thrashed her until she became insensible. They then took £2 out of a box and left. The injured woman was taken to the hospital. The culprits were brought up this morning at the Resident Magistrate's Court, and remanded.
