A fresh case waa reported yesterday, tbe person attacked being a woman living in the suburb of Ultimo. There are now twelve infected houses in the city and suburbs. A Small-pox Board has been appointed to devise fresh means for preventing the spread of tbe disease, and a special quarantine station is now in course of construction at Little Bay in Port Jackson, where all small-pox patients will be sent. Brisbane. This Day. A fire broke out last night on premises in Queen-street, opposite the theatre. It was speedily extinguished, but not before some damage was done. The insurances includes policies in tho following New Zealand, amongst other, offioes : New Zealand Company .£530, South British Company .£2OO.
