Nb&bon. 2nd July. The schooner Uno, in sailing into port this morning, was struck by »Be*er«> squall and both her masta went over the side. In her helpless condition she drilted towards the sands and wta eventully brought ap with her anchor, when the pilot boat took off her crew. On the tide changing, she parted her cable and drifted into harbor, and lies now alongside the wharf. Foxton. 2nd July. Arrived, 1.45 p m.—Tui, from Wellington. Nafibb 2nd July. Arrived, 1 p m.—To Anau, from Wellington. AtjokliAkd, 3rd July. The schooners Linda Weber. Mary King and Baturn from Lyttelton. Falcon from Oamaru, and Sarah and Mary from Bluff, all report very stormy passages, in which the decks were washed by heavy seas. No 3rd July. The steamer Penguin did not pass on as was expected. Bhe arrived this morning and landed most of her cargo. About 4 o'clocka northwesterly squall came up and she left for the Man aa> Lyttelton, 3rd July. Arrived, 3.60 p m.-Grafton, from Wellington. BLBNHBDii, 3rd July. Arrived—Mohaka and Napier, from WeUing- ' Wanoantji, 3rd July. Arrived, 11 a.m.-Huia, from Wellington. Blotbl, 4th July. Arrived, 7.45 a m.—Ringarooma. from Melbourne, with an English mail. She left there at 635 p.m. on the 29th ult., experienced fresh westerly winds and high seas, and passed the Bolandera at 630 pm. yesterday. Passengeis for i Wellington—Miss Venn, Mrs. Farrell, Mr. Branfell, and "6 steerage. The s b. Te Anau, left Newcastle on the 24th ult, called at Auckland, Gisborne and Napier, and arrived hero at 9 a.m. yesterday. Bh« sails again this afternoon for southern ports, flobart and Melbourne. . , The s.s. Hawea left Lyttelton on Saturday night and arrived hero yesterday afternoon. She left again this afternoon for Picton and The b a. Patea arrive 1 at 3 o'clock this morning from Patea. Bhe returns to Patea this afternoon. The a.B. Go-A.head left Timaru at 5 p m. on Saturday, and arrived here at 3 thii morning. Bhe experienced a heavy N.W. gale yesterday. The Go-Ahead leaves for the East Coast this The Star of the South arrived in harbor at noon to-day from Dunedin and Timaru. Bhe leaves for Westport and Greymouth to-morrow The s.s. Kiwi arrived on Saturday night from Napier and Oaßtlepoint. She returns to same ports this afternoon. . The schooner Old Jaok arrived last night from Port Underwood. The B.s. Huia, for Wanganui, Bailed on Saturday evening, and should be back to-morrow. The Grafton sailed for southern ports on Saturday night. , The Mohaka, for Blenheim, sailed yesterday morning. . , , . The barque 8. B. Lulirß took her departure for Newcastle at 4 30 on Saturday afternoon. The b.b. Kennedy leaves for Nelson and West Coast this evening. The btormbird aailfl lor Foxton this evening. ABRIVAL OF THE BABQUE WAIMEA, FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's barque Waimea, we tons, Captain Matthews, was signalled yesterday afternoon, but owing to the heavy N.W. gale blowing was unable to make our harbor until noon to-day, when she was brought in by Pilot Holmes. The Waimea lelt London on the 25th March, and pasHed Deal on the 26th. The passage was an uneventful one, and the passengers have all arrived in good health. She waß berthed at the wharf this afternoon The Waimea is the very picture of cleanliness, and reflects great credit en her Officers and crew. Following ia the list of her passengers as DUblished in the European Mail:—baloon — Mr Alfred, Mis. and Master Phillip Watera. Second Cabin — Francea Warren, Thomaa Kearna end Joaeph Foater.
