PROGRAMME OF PARLIAMENTARY BUSINESS.
It is understood that the Representation Biil is almost ready for circulation, and will probably be introduced early next week. It is not yet known definitely whether the Local Finance and Local Public Works Bills will precede or follow the Financial Statement. According to the usual practice, the Budget should come down first, and then the bills to give effect to its proposals. It i 3 thought possible, ho~ever, that considerations of convenience may lead to the early introduction of these bills, so that members may have ample timo to study them and to become conversant with their provisions. We still understand, as we have from the first, that tho Financial Statement will most likely be delivered E.bout the beginning of July, that i-> to say, either at the end ot next week, or early in the week after. On this too, however, nothing is yet positively known, but we believe the matter is under the consideration of the Cabinet
