BIRTH.

Murray.— On tbe 17th June, at Masterton, the wife of Thomas Hope Murray, of a son.

WHY SUFFER ? OF all the medicines in the modern Materia Medica, none rank bo high as a stomachic or stimulating tonio as Ginger. All medioal men hold a high opinion of it as a oure for all inorganic diseases; science teaching them that all inorganic diseases arise in the first place from a disordered Btomaoh. Hitherto, on account of its extreme insolubility, it has boen little used, the powdered ginger containing a large proportion of woody fibre, often doing more harm than good. Messrs. Joseph Burnett and Co., however, after rspeated experiments, have discovered a menstruum which has overcome all this ; and now offer to the profession and public their ESSENCE OF WHITE JAMAICA GINGER (the white being the purest of all the zingibs), which is a guaranteed speedy and certain cure for Coughs, Colds, Sore Throats, Indigestion, Flatulence, Nervousness, Bad Breath, Nedralgia, Rheumatism, Gout, &0., a wide range certainly, but every one knows the immediate connection between the Btomaoh and the entire system, especially the nerve system. Sold by J. MONTEITH, Medical Hall, Manners-street.
