ATTEMPTS TO MURDER THE CZAR ARREST OF TELEGRAPHISTS FOR ALLEGED COMPLICTIY.
DEATH OF AN ENGLISH JUDGE. ANAECHY IN IEELAND. [SPECIAL TO SYDNEY HEWS.j London, Bth June. Alarming discoveries continue to be made of Nihiliatic plots to murder the Eu6sian Sovereign, and considerable anxiety exist* for the safety of the Czar in consequence of the numerous preparations being made to ensure his destruction. One of the latest discoveries made by the police is the existence of a dynamite mine underneath the railway station at Gatschina, about 100 miles from !St. Petersburg. A battery was coanecttid by wire with the telegraph office, and this has led to the suspicion that telegraph clerks are implicated in the plot. All the clerks have therefore been arrested. The police also discovered a dynamite infernal machine beneath the Czar's seat in church. The Eight Hon Sr W. Melbourne James Kent, one of the Lord Justices of Appeal in the Supreme Court of Judicature, is dead. He was 74 years of age. England and Euseia have agreed not to interfere in the event ot war breaking out in Afghanistan between the Ameer and Ayoub Khan. The money market in America is tightening. The London stock markets are declining, but the trade returns are very little changed. The most serions riots that have yet been reported from Ireland occurred yesterday in the province of Munster. There we r e disturbances in various parts of the country, but the most alarming took place at Ballydebole and Skibbereen, County Cork. A bank was wrecked, and telegraph lines and bridges destroyed. In one place tho mob holds complete possession of the town. The holding of meetings has been prohibited in some parts of the country, and little short of anarchy prevails.
