I In the matter of a Local Bill entitled "An Act to authorise the sale of Queen's Wharf and Bonded Store, &c, at the City of Wellington, to tho Wellington Harbour Board." NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be mado at the next session of tho General Assembly, by the Wellington Harbour Board, with the concurrence of the Corporation of tho City of , Wellington, to bring in a Local Bill to authorise the sale, from tho Corporation to the Board, of the Queen's Wharf and Bonded Store, at the City of Wellington, together with the Weighbridge on Custom House Quay, and the hulk "Omega," and all rolling stock, plant, machinery, and appliances used in or about tho said wharf, store, weighbridge, and hulk. It ia intended to provide for — (I.) The payment of the purchase money as follows •.—The sum of £25,000 is to bo paid within three calendar months after the passing of the Act, and tho balance, £39,000, on the 28th February, 19j7, with interest at six pound a por centum per annum in tho meantime. (2 ) The vesting in tho B^rd, on payment of the said sum of £25,000, of tho property sold. (3.) Tho leaaing by the Corporation to the Board, for any term not exceeding 42 years, of the land upon which Baid weighbridge and the office used therewith are situated. (i.) The securing payment of tho Baid balance of £39,000 and interest by a charge upon tho revenues of the Board. (5.) The vesting in the Board of the like rights over any part of the harbour abutting on public streets and places in the City, which the Board now has in respect of any other part of the said harbour, with power to construct harbour works. But the rights of tho Corporation under the To Aro Reclamation Act, 1879, are not to be prejudiced. Dated at Wellington, this eighteenth day of May, 1881.
