Tha New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following telegram :—: — London. Ist June. Competition ia increasing, and quotations are on an average Jd to Id per lb better than at the opening or the sales, excepting for combing washed, scoured combing, fine greasy, fine washed, and fine scoured crossbreds, which remain unchanged. Up to date 168,000 bales have been sold, 95,000 of which have been taken for expert. , — = -
